Lynette Sappe-Watkins

PA Foundation

Lynette Sappe-Watkins is Executive Director for the PA Foundation which has a mission to empower PAs to improve health through philanthropy and service. Ms. Sappe-Watkins is responsible for leading and growing the numerous PA Foundation programs and initiatives, including the recently expanded IMPACT Grants as well as the Robert K. Pedersen and Global Outreach Grant programs. These initiatives provide seed funding to PAs working to improve health in their local communities and around the world. As a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization, Ms. Sappe-Watkins also oversees philanthropy.

She is formerly the director of development for the American Pharmacists Association Foundation where she worked with pharmacists and industry partners on support for relevant opportunities to advance the APhA Foundation’s key initiatives to improve patient health through pharmacists’ patient care services.

Ms. Sappe-Watkins has spent her nonprofit career focused on health and safety issues, serving in development and marketing roles at the American Red Cross and the Home Safety Council/Safe Kids Worldwide, in addition to the APhA Foundation.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Georgia’s Henry W. Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communications and has been a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) since 2010. She is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals and currently president of the Association Foundation Group.
